Dr. John T. Kasmersky, DVM. 

Dr. Kas has been a practicing veterinarian for thirty one years.   He graduated from THE Ohio State University with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1977.  After providing emergency medicine for three years at the Chicago Veterinary Emergency Service and Berwyn Veterinary Clinic he moved into private practice.  He has been affiliated with Lake Shore Animal Hospital and Lake Shore Animal Foundation.  Dr. Kas has owned Broadway Animal Hospital since 1985.  “I have been so blessed and privileged to serve God’s creatures who are so loved and important in our lives.  You do, as you would be done to.”

Dr. Geraldine A. Cretacci, DVM

Dr. Cretacci grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.  She attained her Bachelors of Science degree from Loyola University Chicago in 2006 and graduated with High Honors from the University of Illinois as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.  After starting her pet care career with Broadway Animal Hospital while attending Loyola, Dr. Cretacci now finds herself at the same hospital that made her feel at home years ago.  She enjoys spending time with her husband Braden, their two dogs, “Doris” and “Buehrle”, and their wonderful family and friends.  “Being a part of the extraordinary bond between people and their four-legged companions makes this profession so rewarding.  "Pets add years to our life and life to our years."
