Our emergency and special services department is located at our facility in Northbrook, Illinois –the Animal Emergency and Referral Center. It is open to receive referral transfer cases and walk-in emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We have staffed this facility with veterinarians dedicated to providing the highest quality emergency/specialty care in the following disciplines:

The emergency department primarily treats canine and feline patients and does not provide routine or elective healthcare (i.e. vaccinations, spay/neuter, dentistry, etc). These services are provided at Broadway Animal Hospital.
