Megan E. Henley, MBA
Megan E. Henley is a 2014 Saint Xavier University Master of Business Administration graduate. She joined Broadway Animal Hospital in 2016 as the practice manager. Since she was a little girl, Megan always wanted to work with animals. She began her career in the veterinary field as an assistant and worked her way up to becoming a skilled emergency and specialty technician. Her goal as a manager is to be an influential and inspirational leader and provide her team with the resources they need to become successful veterinary professionals. Megan enjoys volunteering organizations such as Fondati Inocenti in Cluj, Romania whose mission is to support Romanian children and families in need and prevent child abandonment. In her spare time, Megan loves to watch HGTV, AMC’s The Walking Dead, and her beloved Chicago Bears. Her cat’s Pootie, Pedro, A.J., and little maltipoo Mimi fill her life with joy. Megan hopes to someday retire in Kilkenny where she fell in love with Ireland.

Melina has been a veterinary technician assistant at Broadway Animal Hospital since 2016. She chose to be in the veterinary field because she believes the best way to live her life is to help the voiceless any way she can. Melina loves animals and the medical field so this field for her is a perfect fit. She has 2 dogs, Dolly and Romeo. Dolly is a beautiful 12 year old Shiba inu mix and Romeo is a handsome 3 year old Pit/Boxer mix. Melina's goal is to become a veterinarian and one day open a mobile private practice, continue traveling the world helping animals, or to open a sanctuary for animals in need and become an on-call veterinarian.
"It's great being in such a compassionate and caring environment as Broadway Animal Hospital." - Melina
Cynthia Birkett, Hospital Attendant
Cynthia has been a hospital attendant here at Broadway Animal Hospital since 2014. Her interest and fondness for animals started when I was very young. Originally being from Kansas allowed fantastic opportunities for working with, taking care of and rescuing, animals both wild and domestic. Since then, she has been fortunate enough to work with zoo animals and maintaining their habitats. Cynthia enjoys caring and providing refuge for wildlife, including birds, snakes, turtles, raccoon and even opossums! Her yard at home has been certified as an official urban wildlife habitat, which also houses a small feral cat colony. Along with caring for all these wonderful creatures, Cynthia also works with an organization that develops organic rooftop farms pollinated by their own bee colony!
"I'm a loving care giver to all animals that pass through these doors here at Broadway Animal Hospital." - Cynthia
